Chad M. Winters, J.D.

Chad is dedicated to strengthening relationships with our partners — brokers, agents, and advisors — and empowering them to guide clients through complex pharmacy benefit decisions. He focuses his efforts towards increasing awareness of National CooperativeRx’s member-focused approach and helping our partners unlock the full potential, distinct advantages, and cost-saving opportunities of our pharmacy benefit offerings.

Chad earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Minnesota, followed by a Juris Doctor from the University of Wisconsin Law School.

Katy O’Malia

Katy fosters strong relationships with brokers, agents, and advisors, aligning National CooperativeRx’s unique solutions with their clients’ needs. She acts as a trusted pharmacy benefit resource, assisting partners in identifying cost-saving opportunities and showcasing the distinct advantages of National CooperativeRx’s member-focused approach. Leveraging her expertise, Katy equips partners with the tools, insights, and strategies necessary to achieve optimal pharmacy benefit outcomes.

Katy attended Purdue University where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science.

Paul Becker

Paul specializes in building relationships with brokers, agents, and advisors seeking cost-effective pharmacy benefit solutions for their clients. He plays a key role in helping partners understand the unique value of National CooperativeRx’s not-for-profit, member-focused model. By identifying cost-saving opportunities and providing data-driven insights, Paul supports partners in demonstrating the Cooperative’s value to their clients, leading them toward optimal pharmacy benefit outcomes.

Paul has worked in the benefits administration and consulting space for more than 25 years. He holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Agribusiness from Arizona State University.

Nathan Gorny

As our sales analyst at National CooperativeRx, Nathan evaluates and identifies trends in sales by analyzing internal and external industry data. Reporting to the director of sales and marketing, Nathan develops key standard tools, methodologies, and business processes aimed at improving Cooperative efficiency and helping optimize promotional strategies while increasing sales and member life count.

Nathan comes to us with a strong background in sales and insurance, most recently with American Family Insurance. Nathan holds a bachelor’s degree in actuarial science from Indiana University South Bend.

Amanda Wallisch

Amanda’s responsibilities include providing operational support to the entire staff and coordinating our Cooperative meetings and events. She takes the lead in maintaining the Cooperative’s database, ensuring the database is organized and practical. Amanda is proficient in Microsoft Office and brings over 10 years of administrative experience.

Amanda holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Beloit College.

Annika VanRossum

As our administrative assistant, Annika provides clerical support to our Cooperative staff and clients. She works closely with our operations team to ensure our Cooperative is well-organized and functions efficiently. Annika first gained administrative experience while working as an intern for a state representative at the Wisconsin State Capitol.

Annika attended Madison Area Technical College for political science.

Alex Van Lanen

Alex is the Cooperative’s Bookkeeper/HR Coordinator, supporting both financial and human resources functions. Her bookkeeping duties include processing member invoices and credits, as well as reviewing PBM invoices. On the HR side, she assists with recruiting and onboarding new employees and familiarizing them with office systems and policies. With strong attention to detail and a commitment to supporting members, partners, and staff, Alex helps ensure the Cooperative’s operations run smoothly and efficiently on a daily basis.

Alex holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management, with a focus in Finance, from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville.

Josh Bindl

Josh Bindl, CEO

As the CEO of National CooperativeRx, Josh’s main focus is to represent the organization’s members. National CooperativeRx represents over 270 members made up of employers, unions, and coalitions — which collectively are responsible for the health and well-being of over 400,000 participants. With this in mind, Josh strives to continue the Cooperative’s trend of keeping costs low and value high.

Josh came to National CooperativeRx after working with the Wisconsin Counties Association (WCA) for a decade. As the Director of Programs and Services, he supported member services while developing revenue sources. In this role, Josh served as the COO of WCA Group Health Trust, a self-funded employee health benefits trust that grew from 8,000 to 50,000 participants during his tenure.

Josh received his undergraduate degree in public administration and finance from The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse and a master’s degree in public affairs from The University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Christopher Schanz

Chris Schanz came to National CooperativeRx with knowledge of the health care industry from an account manager’s perspective. As a strategic account executive, he sits down with members to review their plan design, then lead them through evaluating what currently works and what changes would be beneficial. Chris is able to help members understand their options, then implement the best plan design for their specific organization.

Chris holds a bachelor’s degree from UW-Green Bay and a graduate degree from UW-Milwaukee.

Matt Dengel

Matt Dengel works closely with our members to help them understand their benefit plan and format it to work in their favor. After analyzing their data, he provides recommendations that simultaneously reduce plan costs and optimize value for their plan’s participants.

Prior to joining National CooperativeRx, Matt was a pharmacy assistant with a large hospital; he holds bachelor’s degrees from Pennsylvania State University and The University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Adam Terrell

Adam Terrell

As a strategic account executive, Adam Terrell works with members to comprehend their benefits plan and advise them on areas that need improvement. With a knack for spotting potential weaknesses in an organization’s plan, Adam can provide a high level of savings and convenience for members.

Adam holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.

Josh Kilmer

As a strategic account executive on our team, Josh maintains his own book of business within the Cooperative and advises members on the best recommendations for their pharmacy benefit plan design. Josh came to our team with an extensive background in the health care industry, including the audiology and oncology fields.

Josh holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from The University of Wisconsin-Marinette.
