Kyle Kapusta: 13 Things You Don’t Know About Me

Staff Profile: Kyle Kapusta

Kyle Kapusta, our regional sales manager, leads an interesting life inside and outside the office.

Here are some facts about him you didn’t know:

  1. Before the sales industry, I was a high school history teacher and coached football and baseball.
  2. I live in Fox Lake, a suburb of Chicago. To me, it’s the best of both worlds — a small weekender town, but just a train ride away from downtown Chicago. Fox Lake also has the most registered boats in the US.
  3. I’m a die-hard Chicago sports fan, especially the Cubs and Blackhawks. I try to go to as many games as I can.
  4. I’ve always loved to play baseball. I was a pitcher in college and made it to the College World Series my freshman year!
  5. My absolute favorite meal at a restaurant is pizza, and Lou Malnati’s in particular. Deep-dish cheese and sausage is the way to go.
  6. I’m probably the worst singer in the world. I try to stay away from karaoke bars for the sake of other people.
  7. One of my passions is traveling. Last year, I went to Munich for Oktoberfest. Before that, I was in Rio to watch my good friend wrestle for Team USA in the 2016 Summer Olympics.
  8. My next international trip will be to the 2020 Olympics in Japan.
  9. My first big purchase was a Ford Mustang when I graduated high school. I sold it a few years ago but want to get another one in the future.
  10. If I could be on a reality show, I would definitely pick The Amazing Race.
  11. I recently got Netflix and have been into a lot of their shows lately. My favorites are Stranger Things and Ozarks, although I can never resist an episode of Friends!
  12. I eat enough for a family of four, so I’m constantly cooking. When my friends come over, their special request is either chicken parmesan or biscuits and gravy in the morning.
  13. My guilty pleasure is ice cream! I can always go for some ice cream no matter how full I am.
