Paul Becker: Partnership Development Manager

We are pleased to introduce Paul Becker, Partnership Development Manager at National CooperativeRx! Paul specializes in building relationships with brokers, agents, and advisors seeking cost-effective pharmacy benefit solutions for their clients. He plays a key role in helping partners understand the unique value of National CooperativeRx’s not-for-profit, member-focused model. By identifying cost-saving opportunities and providing data-driven insights, Paul supports partners in demonstrating the Cooperative’s value to their clients, leading them toward optimal pharmacy benefit outcomes.

Paul holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Agribusiness from Arizona State University. He spent over 15 years with a multi-national human resources management organization, where he worked with employers to enhance their strategic HR solutions—including benefits, 401(k), and other employer-related services. During that time, Paul developed a strong understanding of the complexities of employee benefits and their significant impact on an organization’s bottom line. This sparked his interest in helping employers find more valuable, cost-efficient benefit solutions.

Paul transitioned into a benefits consultant role at a national insurance brokerage, using his employee benefits knowledge to guide clients toward programs that better served their workforce. His success in the benefits space led to a Regional Vice President of Sales position at a pharmacy benefit management platform, building strong client relationships and expanding his knowledge of pharmacy benefit management strategies.

Paul’s role at National CooperativeRx was a natural next step in his career. When asked about his role, he shared, “I’m looking forward to helping partners recognize National CooperativeRx’s value and building trust in what we can deliver together.” He continued, “I understand the hesitation partners sometimes feel when presenting new pharmacy benefit solutions to clients. To feel confident, they need to trust not just the services, but the team behind them. Paul, his wife, and their German Shepherd live in Phoenix, AZ, where they enjoy spending time outdoors, especially hiking. As recent empty nesters, they also enjoy spending time with their son, a recent Arizona State University graduate, and trips to Southern California to visit their daughter.
