Chad M. Winters, J.D.: Partnership Development Manager

We are thrilled to announce Chad M. Winters, J.D., has joined National CooperativeRx as a Partnership Development Manager. Chad is dedicated to strengthening relationships with our partners — brokers, agents, and advisors — and empowering them to guide clients through complex pharmacy benefit decisions.

Chad focuses his efforts on increasing awareness of National CooperativeRx’s member-focused approach and helping our partners unlock the full potential, distinct advantages, and cost-saving opportunities of our pharmacy benefit offerings.

Originally from Kenosha, WI, Chad earned his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Minnesota, followed by a Juris Doctor from the University of Wisconsin Law School. He began his career as a Labor & Employment attorney in Milwaukee, later becoming a compliance attorney to help mid-size employers manage early healthcare reform impacts.

As a former Vice President of Employee Benefits at leading insurance brokerages, Chad bridged significant gaps in client understanding and value demonstration. He believes strongly in the alignment between our goals and those of our partners, stating, “At the end of the day, we make decisions based on the best interests of our members, just as our partners aim to serve their clients’ best interests. There’s a natural alignment there that’s compelling.”

Chad is eager to leverage his expertise to deliver tailored pharmacy benefit solutions to our partners, simplifying complexities to foster informed, impactful decisions. “There’s a huge opportunity to demystify pharmacy benefits, encouraging deeper engagement from our partners,” he remarks.

Chad lives in Brookfield, WI, with his wife, Allison, and their three sons. A committed community figure, he recently coached his children’s basketball teams to victory. Despite being deep in Badgers territory and holding a law degree from Madison, Chad proudly supports the Minnesota Golden Gophers.

Please join us in welcoming Chad to the National CooperativeRx team!
