Dax Martel: Sales and Account Associate

We are pleased to welcome Dax Martel, Sales and Account Associate, to the National CooperativeRx team. In his role, Dax works closely with our Strategic Account Executives to help strengthen and support relationships with current members and partners. He also collaborates with our Partnership Development Managers to develop reports that help prospective members understand the true value of National CooperativeRx.

Dax was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA. He later moved to Nashville, TN, to pursue his interest in writing at Middle Tennessee State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Writing. After graduating, he relocated to Madison, WI, and worked for a statewide fuel and retail association. Starting as an Administrative Assistant, he quickly advanced to Operations Manager, spending more than a decade overseeing daily operations and managing key areas such as customer relationship management platforms, marketing, accounting, and tech support.

Motivated by a desire to broaden the purpose and impact of his work, Dax transitioned from his operations role to an Executive Assistant position in the oncology department of a hospital. In this role, he gained valuable experience supporting healthcare professionals and developed a strong appreciation for the behind-the-scenes efforts that help make a real difference in people’s lives.

Dax was drawn to National CooperativeRx by the opportunity to apply his analytical and organizational strengths in a setting aligned with his values. He shared, “I thrive in support roles where I can help ensure every detail—from data to deliverables—is accurate and ready for presentation. Being part of a member-first cooperative and knowing my efforts contribute to improving lives gives my work true purpose.”

Outside of work, Dax is passionate about writing and reading fiction novels. When he’s not immersed in a book or watching shows like Severance and The Expanse, he enjoys kayaking on Madison’s lakes and biking along local trails.
