Todd Grams is a new sales manager at National CooperativeRx. Todd’s responsibilities include assisting agents, brokers and consultants in educating plan sponsors on how joining National CooperativeRx can provide the right pharmacy benefits for their participants, while saving money and promoting good health. I had the chance to get to know Todd with a lightning round of 13 questions.
What’s your family life like? I’m married to my wonderful wife, Laura, and we have two children, Mara and Cassandra.
Favorite movie? Grumpy Old Men.
Last meal on death row? Steak and lobster.
How would you describe your perfect day? It would be 75 degrees with a 10-mile breeze out of the west and you could find me on my boat fishing all day.
First thing you’d buy if you won the lottery? I’d make sure my family was taken care of.
Best vacation you’ve ever taken? I went to Tahiti in 2012 and spent the week snorkeling; we had a semi-private cruise line, which was great.
Life motto? Life is good.
Go-to cocktail? Vodka tonic.
Most useful social media platform? LinkedIn for sure. It’s such a great tool to connect with brokers and consultants and share the Cooperative message along with relevant industry news.
What attracted you to the position at National CooperativeRx? The member-owned cooperative aspect was a big part of it and being able to provide honest and transparent pharmacy benefit pricing to the public.
If you could switch jobs with someone in the office for a day, who would it be? Jocelyn Kerl, PharmD., our clinical services manager. Her role seems so in-depth and it would be great to dive in one day and see the clinical aspect of our business.
What do you hope to accomplish the first few months on the job? Learning our drug glossary would be a start! I’m anxious to get out and meet our current and prospective members and focus on new sales opportunities.
