National CooperativeRx is pleased to announce the addition of Kaya Mondry to the team! Kaya is one of our sales and account associates (SAA), a position that collaborates with the account management and sales teams to support existing member relationships and future sales opportunities. Member support is one of the Cooperative’s key focuses.
Kaya, a Madison, WI native, attended Edgewood College and earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Minor in Physics. Throughout college, she held diverse roles in sales and research, enhancing her versatility and strengthening her customer relationship management and analytical skills. Following graduation, Kaya worked as a clinical laboratory scientist for a company that specializes in detecting early-stage cancers through molecular diagnostics. When she was not in the lab running tests, Kaya shadowed the sales team, learning to communicate with prospective and current customers and maintain long-lasting relationships. “I have always sought roles that allow me to make a positive impact within and beyond my community. During my time in the lab, I had the opportunity to make a difference in people’s lives, but I was missing the customer interaction component I thrive in,” said Kaya. She continued, “While shadowing the sales team, I realized that a customer-facing role offers a unique way to impact people’s lives by increasing product awareness.”
National CooperativeRx captured Kaya’s attention as a smaller organization with a big reach. She was intrigued by the personal feel of the Cooperative and its mission to provide access to high-quality, cost-effective prescription drugs and services to communities. “It is fascinating observing how the different departments work together to resolve patient matters,” said Kaya. “Their constant communication helps them work as a unit and accomplish tasks and goals. I am thrilled to be a part of the collaboration.”
In her leisure time, Kaya enjoys exploring the different cuisines around the greater Madison area, with Arabic and Jamaican cuisines ranking among her favorites, specifically David’s Jamaican Cuisine in Monona, WI. She is also an avid traveler and professed her love for Dubai, where she had the unique experience of riding a camel and became a self-proclaimed camel enthusiast.
Welcome to the National CooperativeRx team, Kaya!
