Member Survey Results

In honor of our cooperative nature, we recently conducted a survey to ask members for their input. Because we’re in the midst of the PBM RFP for our 2019 contract, we wanted to verify we’re all on the same page. We had a great number of responses and were flattered by the feedback received.

9 out of 10 members said they’d recommend National CooperativeRx for pharmacy benefits.

Our members stated they trust National CooperativeRx above all other sources of information available.

National CooperativeRx is most knowledgeable about our needs and other members and the PBM market.

Additionally, 91% of members were satisfied or highly satisfied with National CooperativeRx’s overall value, and 94% were satisfied or highly satisfied with both the Cooperative’s expertise and responsiveness.

What our members value in a PBM came at no surprise — of greatest importance is a PBM’s responsiveness, their ability to resolve issues, and price. These were also the areas that CVS/caremark scored highest when rated by our members.

Our members told us how much money they’d have to save to consider switching PBMs, and we feel those numbers aligned with our projections as well. We will keep these numbers confidential until we’ve concluded the RFP process, but it is worth noting that our members find value in our dedicated team at CVS/caremark.
